Description
Model 1911A1 Semi-Automatic Pistol by Ithaca. Serial no. 1039787, .45 caliber, 5-inch barrel. Top of barrel with inspector's marks "P H." Left side of frame marked,"ITHACA GUN CO., INC. / ITHACA, N.Y." Left side of frame with "FJA" inspector's initials. Right side marked, ":UNITED STATES PROPERTY M1911A1 U.S. ARMY/NO. 1039787. Blued finish. Replacement checkered walnut grips. Two-tone magazine with lanyard ring. Condition: Good as refinished. Retaining approximately 60-70% of an old re-bluing, the balance fading to gray. Scattered pitting visible throughout and underneath the finish. Modern replacement grips good showing some wear. Good bore showing some fine pitting.Auction Info
