Description
Mauser Model 96 Broomhandle Semi-Automatic Pistol.Serial no. 268925 [barrel and frame], 7.63mm caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Top of barrel stamped: WAFFENFABRIK / MAUSER / OBERNDORFA/N. (crown) and (crown/U) proofs to left side of barrel. Grooved walnut grips. Lanyard ring.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 85-90% finish with noticeable thinning spots, scattered handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Few scuffs and dings present to wood. Action good. Bright bore. Property from the James R. Glascock Collection.
