German BYF 42 Luger Early Military P.08 Semi-Automatic Pistol.Serial no. 1558 [all matching], 9mm caliber, 4-inch barrel with dovetail front sight and fixed rear sight. Blued finish. Toggle marked: byf. Breech stamped: 42. Various German proof marks. Checkered hardwood grip panels. Lanyard ring.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 94-96% finish with some thinning to relief edges, scattered handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Magazine absent. Action crisp. Strong bore. Nelson A. Faerber Collection.
