Description
Colt Model 1911 Semi-Automatic Pistol. Serial no. C91911, .45 caliber, 5-inch barrel. Right side of slide marked: GOVERNMENT MODEL. Blued finish. Checkered walnut grips with diamond escutcheons. Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 90-92% original finish. Edge wear observed on slide and frame. Gripstrap thinning to a grey-blue patina. Grips fine with very light, uniform softening to checkering. Bore strong and in need of cleaning.Auction Info
