Description
Bergman Model 1896 Semi-Automatic Pistol. Serial no. 748 [barrel and grips], 6.5mm rimless caliber, 4 1/2-inch round barrel. Blued finish. Left side of frame with [crown]/U proof marks. Lower frame, left side marked, PATENT/BREVETE/S.G.D.G. Right side of frame marked with oval bearing the logo GAGGENAU/V.C.S./SUHL. Condition: Excellent. Retaining approximately 85-90% original finish with scattered patches of light frosting on breech, barrel and frame. Fine checkered hardwood grips. Grip strap with light pitting at the edges.
