Description
U.S. Model 1816 S. North Flintlock Pistol.Unserialized, .54 caliber, 9-inch barrel marked: P and US. Lock marked: S. NORTH / U (EAGLE) S / MIDLN CON. Martial pistol by Simeon North. Smooth hardwood stock with barrel band and round metal butt. E stamped to trigger, back of lock, screws and barrel band. V, HB and faint cartouche to left side of stock. Wood ramrod.
Condition: Good as cleaned. Scattered signs of wear and patches of pitting to metal. Heavy scuffs, dings and bruising to wood. Action good. Lightly pitted bore.
