Description
Unmarked European Dog Lock Brass Barrel Flintlock Pistol. .57 caliber, 15-inch brass octagonal barrel. Dog lock mechanism, unmarked and crude with safety. Walnut stock with brass pommel band and ramrod band. Ebony ramrod with metal cap. Overall length: 22-inches.Condition: Good. Barrel with light wear and age patina. Lock cleaned, but heavy wear and pitting present. Small loss to lock near screw. Missing triggerguard. Stock with numerous repairs, losses and worm damage. Missing pin holding barrel to stock. Mechanically needs adjusting, lock does not cock completely. Replaced screws.
