Description
Spanish Llanas Miquelet Pistol.Unserialized, approximately .74 caliber, 8-inch octagonal and round barrel with scattered fleur-de-lis style images to top. Scroll engraved lock plates and action. Decoratively carved hardwood stock. Engraved brass escutcheon to wrist, gripcap and triggerguard. Wooden ramrod. Original brass museum inventory tag attached: J.M. DAVIS / 1571 / MEMORIAL.
Sold to Benefit The JM Davis Collection at the JM Davis Arms and Historical Museum.
Condition: Very good. Overall showing scattered signs of age, handling wear and patches of pitting. Dings and scuffs present throughout wood. Cracks to each side of lockplates. Action good. Pitted bore.
