Description
Pair of French Dumoulin Rouen Percussion Dueling Pistols.Unserialized, .52 calibers, 11-inch damascus barrels with fixed front and rear sights. Elaborately scroll engraved lock, hammer, triggerguard and butt. Lock marked: DUMOULIN / A. ROUEN, inside a gilt accented box. Blank oval escutcheons to top of wrists. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stocks. Sold along with one tool.
Condition: Very good. Overall showing light handling wear. Scattered scuffs and dings present to wood. Actions good. Strong bores. Note: [minor wood / period repair to heel on one of the pistols, approximately 1/2 cm].
