Matching Pair of All-Steel Engraved Scottish Percussion Belt Pistols.

.50 calibers, approximately 6 1/8-inch round to octagonal to 12 stage near muzzle [gold-washed] smoothbore barrels. Profusely floral engraving throughout, barrels, stock, forearm and butt. Blued hammer also engraved in a floral scrollwork. Flat side grips terminating in traditional ram's horn pommels with threaded nipple pricks. Ball triggers. 2 1/2-inch steel belt hooks and steel ramrods. Overall length is approximately 10 1/2-inches overall. The guns appear to be unsigned.

Condition: Fine, with light age wear patination and pitting present. Gold wash thinning on barrels. One pistol missing top of tang screw. A few mars and bumps to metal overall on both guns. One pistol's action needs adjusting. Fine bores.
