Lot of Two Engraved Percussion Boot Pistols.Comprising: 1.) Engraved Dutch Percussion Pistol. Unserialized, approximately .60 caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight. Blued finish. Top of barrel marked: B. FVII 1816. Scroll engraved lock, hammer and upper tang. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock. Engraved silver-plated triggerguard and grip cap. Metal ramrod. 2.) French Pritchard Percussion Boot Pistol. Unserialized, approximately .64 caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Damascus and blued finish. Scroll engraved upper tang, lock, triggerguard and butt. Lock marked: PRITCHARD. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock. Swivel metal ramrod.
Condition: Very good. Each overall showing honest handling wear, age and patches of pitting. Dings and scuffs present to wood. Actions good. Lightly pitted bores.
