Description

Late 18th Century Military Style British Flintlock Holster Pistol. 15 1/2" overall, 9 3/8", 65 caliber, smoothbore round iron barrel with two proofs. Flat lockplate marked "T * Potts / London" with reinforced pan and flat reinforced cock. Brass mounts include trigger guard, single ramrod pipe and military style side plate. Walnut stock with bag shaped grip and letters "TP" stamped vertically behind the side plate. Wooden ramrod with brass tip. Very fine overall condition showing dark patina and little wear. Tiny hairline at the rear, of the lock, very minor, and the ramrod is likely a replacement. An exceptionally nice British military flintlock pistol.
