Description
French Charleville Flintlock Pistol.Unserialized, .68 caliber, 7-inch barrel. Oval B proof and 1812 stamped to left side of barrel. Lock marked: DE CHARLEVILLE. Back side of lock marked with proof and N-N. Smooth walnut stock with brass furniture and faint round cartouche to left side just above trigger. Metal ramrod.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a mottled grey patina with noticeable wear and pitting. Wood showing scattered scuffs, dings and bruises. Some olive toning and pitting present to brass. Action needs adjustment.
