Fine Pair of Unmarked Italian Flintlock Pistols. .55 caliber smoothbores, 6 3/8-inch blued, two-stage tapered barrels, the tops profusely inlaid with gold linework and panoplies. Molded bands. Unmarked steel lock mechanisms and steel furniture, all manufactured in-the-white. Relief-carved burl walnut stocks with ornately carved floral sprays behind tangs. Blackened steel ramrods. Vaulted oval silver wrist escutcheons with monogram EO. Condition: Excellent to mint. No flints.Auction Info
