English Single-Shot Conversion Pistol by W. Ketland & Co. .65 caliber, 9-inch tapered round barrel, the top flattened at breech and marked: LONDON. London proofs. Upper tang engraved with light decoration. Lockplate marked: W. Ketland/& Co. Barrel type conversion. Varnished walnut stock marked: 75 with brass oval wrist escutcheon and engraved brass furniture. Wooden ramrod with brass tip. Condition: Good as reconfigured. Barrel and lock showing grey patina and scattered light pitting overall. Wood with light wear and tiny crack in front of rear counterplate screw. Action good. From the Michael Yeck Collection.Auction Info
