Description
English Percussion Belt Pistol by Richardson.Approximately .46 caliber, 4 3/4-inch octagonal damascus barrel. Engraved and banded at the muzzle. German silver blade front and notched rear sights. Breech with silver band and marked: RICHARDSON/LONDON. Nicely floral-engraved frame including upper tang, guard and cap reservoir cover. Checkered walnut grips. Steel swivel ramrod. Blued steel belt hook. The William Alberta Collection.
Condition: Very good to fine. Barrel now with a smooth, slightly mottled, dark brown patina. Frame and grips are very good to fine with light age patina and moderate wear and soiling. Belt hook a later replacement.
