English Dragoon Percussion Pepperbox Revolver by James Beattie. .60 caliber, the 5-inch, five-shot fluted barrel cluster with dentate pattern banding at muzzle. London proofs. Sliding safety. Finely scroll-engraved frame inscribed: Jas. Beattie/205 Regent Street/London. Engraved bar hammer. Walnut grip with intaglio-carved floral meander. Vacant silver oval wrist escutcheon. Steel buttcap with cap reservoir. Condition: Very good. Metal with dark grey patina and some minor pitting. Excellent wood with a few minor blemishes.Auction Info
