Serial no. 126 [inside grips, cylinder, gripstrap], .31 caliber, 4 1/2-inch octagonal barrel. Iron frame. Top of frame marked PETTENGILLS / PATENT 1856. Bottom of frame marked RAYMOND & ROBITAILLE / PATENTED 1858. Split type loading lever. See Flayderman's 7A-076. Third model variation.
Condition: Good to very good. Originally blued. Retaining an overall gray patina with patches of pitting throughout. Loading lever with some replacement. Frame near cylinder on left side with work done. Grips ok with numerous mars and dents primarly to heel. Action good. Bore ok.
