Description
Colt M1851 .36 Caliber Percussion Navy Revolver #101682 Matching, Including Wedge, Manufactured 1861 Standard format, with excellent markings and 7 1/2" barrel. Barrel retains 40% of the original blue, with the balance being a smooth even patina, the gun being overall untouched. Cylinder with excellent scene and light patina. The six cylinder pins are worn but present. Gun retains about 50% of the silver on the straps and there are traces of case color on the loading lever and right side of frame. Excellent bore and mechanically crisp. The grips retain most of the original varnish, just showing some light wear on the left edge of the butt. The wedge screw is, we believe, a replacement.
