Colt M1849 .31 Caliber Percussion Revolver. 6" barrel, one line New York address. 6 shot although the cylinder is an un-numbered/unmarked replacement. All other numbers matching, #218057, Mfg. 1863. Gun is overall generally smooth and gray with a few patches of light pitting, minor. Action works fine but the cylinder does not index properly. Walnut grips show some edge wear and one side with two tiny nail holes. Still a good representative example.Auction Info
