Description
Carved and Engraved Flintlock Blunderbuss.Unserialized, 1 1/2-inch diameter bore, 11-inch barrel with flared muzzle. Extensively carved barrel. Lightly scroll engraved hammer and lock. Checkered hardwood stock. Diamond shaped brass escutcheon to top of wrist. Brass triggerguard and crescent buttplate. Sling swivel. Overall length is 20-inches.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with areas of age handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action functions. Moderately pitted bore.
