Description
C. 1800 Iron Mounted British Flintlock Holster Pistol. 13 3/4" overall, with slightly swamped, .62 caliber, smoothbore, 8 1/2" iron barrel, engraved "Bunney London". Flat lock with sliding safety, reinforced pan, roller frizzen, reinforced cock, marked "Bunney" in a riband. Iron mounts include trigger guard with acorn finial, ramrod pipes, and washers under engraved lock screw heads. Finely figured walnut stock with flattened bag shaped grip and exhibiting a large unengraved silver wrist escutcheon. Wooden ramrod with horn tip. Gun very nice overall, just showing some even honest wear with a few dents and some light salt and peppering on the hammer and ramrod pipe. Nice British pistol.Auction Info
