Brass-Barreled Flintlock Pistol Marked New York and Wolfe. .54 caliber, 9-inch octagonal brass barrel with German silver front sight, the top flat marked: "NEW YORK". Breech with English proofs. Lock mechanism marked: "WOLFES". Roller frizzen. Goose-neck cock. Engraved steel tang with engraved screw. Varnished walnut stock with vacant German silver oval wrist escutcheon and brass furniture, with engraved triggerguard and pineapple lower tang. Bag-shaped grip, the pommel covered in brass tacks. Wooden ramrod. Fair to good condition. Barrel with light wear and age patina. Lock showing light pitting and surface rust. Stock showing wear and period crack repairs. Hairline crack on left side near rear counterplate screw. Ramrod likely a later replacement. Action good. From the Michael Yeck Collection.
