Description
Belgian Flintlock Pistol With Brass Barrel.Approximately .60 caliber, 7 1/2-inch brass barrel with Liege proof marks at breech. Engraved hammer on Ketland-marked lock. Fine varnished hardwood stock with brass furniture. Simple engraving to triggerguard. Vacant brass escutcheon at wrist. Brass-tipped hardwood ramrod. Property from the Estate of John R. Eckel, Sr.
Condition: Fine. Brass with even age patina with some signs of having been lightly buffed. Muted case colors to lock. Stock is fine with honest age wear under a later applied varnish. Scratches and slight roughness left side of grip. Action functions.
