A. Ruggles Single-Shot Underhammer Percussion Boot Pistol.Serial no. 166, .31 caliber, 8-inch part octagonal and round barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Top of barrel marked: A. RUGGLES / STAFFORD (CONN). Underhammer action. Smooth cane handle style grip. Brass grip strap.
Condition: Very good. Finish a smooth grey patina with normal age wear and scattered fine pitting. Assorted scuffs and scratches to grip. Action good.
