19th Century Caucasian Miquelet Lock Pistol. .50 caliber, 10 3/8-inch barrel. Gold decorated steel lock and barrel with 3 large silver bands. Leather covered stock with silver pommel and decorated upper wrist. Crude lanyard ring. Button trigger. Overall length 15 1/2-inches. Condition: Good. Metal with dark age patina and scattered pitting. Various dings and losses to leather and wood, mostly to breech area. Leather on stock is thin near muzzle. Silver bands in good condition, moderate tarnish to first band. Gold decorations on barrel are faint. No gold under silver bands. Mechanically sound.
