USMC NO. 694 Marked.
U.S. Marine Corps Colt 1905 Double Action Revolver.Serial no. 141 [frame and crane], .38 caliber, 6-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer and trigger. Rampant Colt logo to left side of frame. Butt marked: U.S. / M.C. / NO. / 694. Checkered walnut slim grip panels. Lanyard ring.
Note: Very rare model, as only 926 were manufactured.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 94-96% finish with some thinning to relief edges, handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Dings and scuffs present to wood. Action good. Bright bore. Nelson A. Faerber Collection.
