Description
Smith & Wesson Pre-Model 27 Double Action Revolver. Serial no. S129540, .357 Magnum caliber, 8 3/8-inch barrel with serrated ramp front and micrometer adjust rear sights. Five-screw frame. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer and trigger. Checkered walnut stocks with medallions.Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 90-95% finish with scattered handling wear and light scratches. Small patch of surface rust under right grip panel. Losses on frame above cylinder and on recoil shield. Grip panels of slightly different shades, possibly a result of storage. Very good bore, in need of cleaning. Excellent action. Manufactured 1954-55.
