Smith & Wesson Model 48-3 Double Action Revolver with Telescopic Sight.Serial no. 8K78403, .22 M.R.F. caliber, 8 1/4-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer and trigger. Pachmayr checkered rubber grip panels. Mounted Bushnell Magnum Phantom 2.5X telescopic sight.
Provenance: The Don Otterson Collection.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 94-96% finish, with signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Tracking line to cylinder. Minor scuffs to grips. Action crisp. Bright bore. Clear optics.
