Description
Rast & Gasser Model 1898 Double Action Service Revolver. Serial no. 158922 [barrel, frame and cylinder], 8mm, 4 1/2-inch barrel with standard fixed sights. Blued finish. Left side of frame stamped: PATENT / RAST & GASSER / WIEN. Checkered walnut grips. Lanyard ring. Revolvers were used by the Austro-Hungarian Army during World War I.Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 40-50% of a thinning finish with noticeable wear and pitting. Repair to ejector rod retaining pin.Grips showing minor scuffs, scratches and dings. Action good. Strong bore.
