Rare Remington Model 1888 Single Action Revolver. Serial no. 595, .44 caliber, 5 ¾-inch barrel. Nickel-plated finish. Blued screws. Varnished walnut grips Made circa 1888-1889. Total quantity manufactured is under 1000 [see Flayderman 5E-055.5]. Condition: Excellent. Retaining approximately 90-95% finish with scattered wear, dulling and flaking. Grips very good with minor wear and marks. Action tight and crisp.Auction Info
