Description
Lot of Two Colt Model 1877 Lightning Double Action Revolvers.Comprising: 1.) Serial no. 127559 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .38 caliber, 4 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Checkered hard rubber grip panels with carved Rampant Colt logo. 2.) Serial no. 140893 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .38 caliber, 4 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Checkered hard rubber grip panels with carved Rampant Colt logo. Manufactured in 1901 and 1903.
Condition: Good. Each retaining traces of finish with noticeable signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Smooth checkering, scuffs and dings present to grips. Actions good, minor adjustments needed. Lightly pitted bores.
