Colt Model 1878 Double Action Revolver. Serial no. 32542, .45 caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel with two-line Hartford address. Nickel-plated finish. Fire-blued hammer, trigger and screws. Mother-of-pearl bird's head grips. Lanyard ring. Condition: Excellent. Retaining approximately 85-90% finish with scattered wear and flaking overall. Left grip chipped at toe.
