Description
Colt Marshal Model Double Action Revolver.Serial no. 838450 [frame and crane], .38 special, 4-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Blued finish. VP proof mark, W inspector mark and Rampant Colt all to left side of frame. Case-hardened hammer. Checkered walnut grip panels with inlaid Colt medallions. 1 of 2,500 manufactured.
Note: Colt only produced this model between 1954-1956.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 60-70% finish with noticeable thinning to relief edges and gripstraps. Scattered signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Tracking line to cylinder. Scuffs and scratches present to wood. Crisp action. Strong bore. Nelson A. Faerber Collection.
