California Target Model
Cased Colt Python Target Double Action Revolver.Serial no. LA8348, .38 caliber, 8-inch barrel with ventilated rib, serrated fixed front sight and micrometer adjust rear sight. Blued finish. Checkered walnut grip panels with gold-plated Colt medallions. Left side of barrel marked PYTHON TARGET. Contained in associated wooden hinged box with grey foam inserts. Note: Sometimes referred to as the CALIFORNIA TARGET MODEL, 3,489 made in blue finish.
Condition: Excellent. Overall with a few scattered scratches and very fine patches of pitting. Faint tracking line to cylinder. Dings present to base of grips. Action crisp. Bright bore. Box showing light storage wear.
