Description
Matching 2-Barrel Set.
Boxed Merwin Hulbert Medium Frame Double Action Revolver.Serial no. 16582, .38 caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel. Nickel-plated finish with smooth ivory grips. Case-hardened folding hammer and trigger. Top of barrel marked MERWIN HULBERT & CO. NEW YORK USA. Lanyard ring present. Contained Merwin, Hulbert & Co. tan box with extra 3-inch barrel numbered to the gun.
Note: End label of box mentions 3-inch and 5 1/2-inch barrels.
Condition: Fine to excellent. Finish with nicks and fine scratches from storage, otherwise a solid example. Small residue and wear to protected areas. Faint tracking line present. Aftermarket grips. Extra barrel in excellent condition. Overall gun shows very little use, if any. Box in good condition with some scuffs and wear to edges/lid and bottom. End label 98% complete with minor imperfections and wear. Bright bores. Action good.
