William W. Marston Three Barrel Pocket Derringer.
Serial no. 845 [frame under grip], .22 caliber, 3-inch barrel cluster with fixed front blade sight. Scroll engraved brass frame, the left side stamped: WM. W. MARSTON / PATENTED / MAY 20, 1857 / NEW YORK CITY / IMPROVED 1864. Right side of frame features barrel selection switch. Case-hardened hammer. Spur trigger. Smooth walnut grips. Note: Less than 300 made. This is considered the rarest of the .22 caliber three barrel derringers.

Condition: Very good. Retaining traces of finish, the balance a grey age patina with noticeable wear and pitting. Minor scuffs and dings to wood. Action good.
