Lot of Two Derringers. Comprising: 1.) Colt Second Model Derringer. Serial no. 8537, .41 caliber, 2 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and two-line Hartford address. Blued finish. Engraved frame. Checkered walnut grips. 2.) X.L. Derringer. Serial no. 616, .41 caliber, 2 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight. Blued finish. Smooth walnut grips. From the estate of Houston collector Brent Burg.Condition: Good. Finish primarily on each is a smooth grey patina with scattered wear and pitting. Grips showing dents, scuffs and scratches. Action are good. Dark bores.
