Cased Pair of Butler Derringers. Comprising: 1.) Butler Derringer. Serial no. B16801, .22 short caliber, 2 1/2-inch barrel. Black and gold-plated finish. Walnut bird's head grips. 2.) Butler Derringer. Serial no. B16802, .22 short caliber, 2 1/2-inch barrel. Gold-plated finish. Mother-of-pearl bird's head grips. Contained in red velveteen lined Butler wooden display case.Condition: Very good. Each retaining approximately 95-98% finish with scattered handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Noticeable mother-of-pearl loss to base of left grip panel. Actions are good. Strong bores.
