Cased J.G. Bolen Pepperbox Pistol.Unserialized, .31 caliber, 3 1/4-inch barrel cluster marked: CAST STEEL. Scroll engraved frame. Top-hammer marked: BOLEN N.Y. / ALLEN'S PATENT. Ring trigger. Smooth hardwood grip panels. Contained in wood display case with flask, bullet mold and tool.
Property from the Estate of Robert (Bobby) Palazzo, Westlake Village, Ca.
Condition: Good. Finish a smooth grey patina with noticeable areas of age, handling wear and patches of pitting. Scattered dings and scuffs present to grips. Action tight, but functions. Moderately pitted bores. Case showing age and storage wear.
