Description
Colt Model 1851 Navy Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 133570 [barrel, frame, triggerguard and butt], .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Top of barrel marked: ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA. Left side of frame stamped: Colts / patent. Brass gripstraps. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Manufactured in 1863.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of age, handling wear and pitting. Dings and scuffs present to wood. Action functions. Pitted bore.
