Description
Boxed Colt New Frontier Buntline Single Action Revolver with Factory Letter.Serial no. L18009, .22 Magnum caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with serrated fixed front sight and micrometer adjust rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Checkered plastic grips with carved Rampant Colt logo and E. Pluribus Unum eagle. Scroll engraved butt. Contained in factory pasteboard box with tool, literature and extra cylinder. Sold along with factory letter dated September 29, 2017. L prefix serial numbers are very rare as they were only used in 1974.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 92-94% finish, with scattered signs of handling wear and noticeable patches of pitting. Scuffs and dings present to grips. Action crisp. Strong bore. Age and storage wear to box, some flaps torn off but included.
