Description
Space Shuttle Columbia (STS-3) Flown American Flag and Crew Patch with Crew-Signed Certificate in Framed Display Directly from the Estate of NASA Legend Chris Kraft, with Certificate of Authenticity. A 5.75" x 4" cloth U.S. flag and a 4" diameter embroidered mission insignia patch matted with a montage of color photos on a certificate bearing the text: "This flag and crew patch were flown aboard the third flight of the Space Shuttle 'Columbia' as it completed 130 revolutions of the Earth and travelled 3.4 million miles. March 22-30, 1982/ Presented to Chris Kraft/ With a great appreciation for your friendship/ encouragement, and professional dedication". The certificate is signed beneath: "Jack Lousma" and "Gordon Fullerton". An impressive display framed to an overall 23.5" x 19". Some scratching to the frame, not impacting the display.
