Grumman's "Lunar Module Derivatives for Future Space Missions," Circa 1970, with Original Artwork for Plate Five. A portfolio containing thirteen gorgeous 14" x 11" high-quality color lithographs; all are artist concepts of what might have been if the Apollo moon missions had been continued well past Apollo 17. The included eight-page 5" x 11" booklet gives details of each image and explains the concept (in part): "A variety of LM-derived vehicles for use in Earth or lunar orbit, and on the lunar surface, are described in this portfolio. Missions of two-months duration in Earth orbit (longer with revisits) and at least two weeks duration on the Moon for a variety of important space objectives have been continually refined for over five years..." Includes the original art (artist unknown) for the plate entitled "LM Shelter". Great for display. Seldom offered. Excellent condition.
