Description
Gemini Marble Paperweight Originally from the Personal Collection of Buzz Aldrin. A paperweight with a 3" x 2" gold-colored metal plate bearing the program logo and the years 1961 to 1966, mounted to a 3.5" x 2.5" x 0.875" marble block. Marked on the bottom: "Marble Base/ Made in Italy". Aldrin flew Gemini 12, the last mission in the program. Includes original plastic case. Very fine.Included with this lot is a signed Letter of Authenticity from document dealer Max Rambod stating: "This is to certify that the Gemini II white marble paperweight was purchased at an auction of Buzz Aldrin's personal estate, and was originally owned by Buzz Aldrin."
