Description
El Camino Real Vintage Street Sign, Circa Early 1970s. A major Houston road that runs parallel to Saturn Lane and into NASA Road 1 very near NASA's Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. This is a massive metal sign measuring 41" x 9" with white lettering on a blue background, the same on both sides. El Camino Real is Spanish for "The Royal Road." This sign has been in a private collection since the early 1970s. It had been removed and replaced with a newer sign and a shrewd individual "rescued" it for his collection before its disposal. It is in surprisingly nice condition with just minor wear, very fine.Auction Info
