A hand-numbered (#24/1500), 26" x 33" (sight size) color print, framed to an overall 32" x 39". These canvases were produced from an original acrylic by space artist and moonwalker Alan Bean in 1997 and signed by the astronauts attending an induction ceremony and reunion at the Astronaut Hall of Fame in Titusville, Florida in October 1997. The blue ink signatures included on this piece include: "Alan Shepard", "John Glenn", "Scott Carpenter", "Gordon Cooper" (representing Mercury), "Jim McDivitt", "Wally Schirra", "Richard Gordon" (representing Gemini), "Walt Cunningham", "Rusty Schweickart", "Buzz Aldrin", "Charles Conrad Jr", "Alan Bean", "James Lovell", "Fred Haise", "Edgar Mitchell", "Al Worden", "Charlie Duke " (representing Apollo), "Paul Weitz", "Owen Garriott", "Jack Lousma", "Jerry Carr", "Ed Gibson", "Bill Pogue" (representing Skylab), and "Tom Stafford" (representing Apollo-Soyuz). A number of additional signatures could potentially be added at shows and private signings. We note major damage to the frame and several light surface scrapes, none affecting the signatures. Gallery documentation included. Overall very good condition.
