Description
Apollo 12 Flown Entry Operations Checklist Book Originally from the Personal Collection of Mission Command Module Pilot Richard Gordon, Signed and Certified, with Signed COA. A twenty-eight page loose leaf book on 6" x 8" cardstock, three hole-punched and bound with three binder rings. On the front cover is the Part number "SKB32100081-308" and Serial number "1001"; it is dated internally October 6, 1969. This was an important document used by Gordon in preparation for the return to earth. Tabbed sections included: "Vehicle Preparation", "Lunar Entry Pad", "Supercircular Entry", "Earth/Post Landing", "Entry Emerg", and "Crew Log". We note a few notations inside made by Gordon during the mission. Signed on the cover: "Flown on Apollo XII/ Richard Gordon". Signs of wear, very fine condition. From the Steven R. Belasco Collection of Space Memorabilia.Included with this lot is a signed Certificate of Authenticity stating: "I hereby certify that this Flown Entry Operations Checklist is from my personal collection and was flown and utilized by me on the Apollo 12 mission."
