Description
Kar-Mi Magician Poster. Matted and framed poster for vaudeville performer Joe Victorina (1872-1957) whose stage name was Kar-Mi. He specialized in fifteen minute routines, assisted by his name Selma. This colorful poster is titled: "Kar-Mi Swallows a Loaded Gun Barrel and Shoots a Cracker From a Man's Head." It is dated 1914, printed by National Printing and Engraving and copyrighted by Joseph B. Hallworth. It is 39 1/2" x 26 1/2" [sight] and is matted and framed (not examined out of frame). There are a few minors stains near the top, one 2" border tear and an internal tear in the blue background.Auction Info
