Description
Custer's Last Fight (Quality Amusement Corporation, R-1925). One Sheet (27" X 41") from the 1925 re-release of the 1912 Thomas Ince production. Starring Francis Ford, Grace Cunard, William Eagle Shirt, J. Barney Sherry and Art Acord. Directed by Francis Ford. This stone lithograph is a fine example of the work done during the silent era. It has undergone some minor restoration and been mounted on linen. We notice some evidence of wrinkling, a small oblong area of restoration in the blue background below the title, a couple of restored chips along the edges and light foxing on the bottom border. It displays quite nicely overall.Auction Info
